Day 23: A mother’s request – “feed them…”

As a mom myself, I often wonder if my son really hears me when I ask him to do something. Sometimes the requests don’t matter all that much, and sometimes they really do.  California chef Bruno Serato’s mother can be very proud, her son not only heard her, but he took on her cause heart and sole.

When Caterina Seranto saw that children in Anahiem, California (just a stones throw from the happiest place on earth) had no more than a bag of chips for dinner, she insisted her son feed them pasta.  That heart felt request now bears her name in the form of Caterina’ Club. A mom with the courage to make a difference, and a son who listened well to a very wise mother!
